Our custom-designed multi-colored, 70" x 70" cotton afghan throw features twelve of Unionville's iconic buildings. These include the Tunxis Hose Firehouse built in 1893, a well preserved rural firehouse with Queen Anne Victorian features; Union School a WPA project completed in 1939 and the Museum itself which is in a Renaissance style building completed in 1917 to house the West End Library. Construction of our building was funded in part by the philanthropist Andrew Carnegie.

The throw is perfect for gift giving, or to enjoy for yourself! Those who purchase a throw will not only receive a quality keepsake but will be supporting the mission of the Museum.
